The Story of Amore

I have been designing kitchens and baths from Rhode Island to Florida for more than 20 years. My favorite part of design is creating a space that is both functional and beautifully crafted. Creating more usable space without sacrificing quality is something my father taught me, a skill that has served my clients well over the years. After moving home from Florida to Providence 15 years ago, I met my husband Rob while working for another design firm. Rob was one of our regular contractors and I quickly became “his kitchen lady.” Now, years later, we are married and collaborate on projects together.

People will tell you it is not easy working with family members, but I love it. My favorite work environment is on the job with my husband and my father. Even though my dad is retired, he will occasionally make a guest appearance on job sites! As a designer, being able to work on a project and trust that my team knows exactly what I need - and vice versa - creates an atmosphere that brews magic for our clients. Plus, you gain an added bonus of entertainment when all three of us are working together!
